Privacy Policy
1. What we collect
Gretify stores all your data locally on your device. We do not operate any servers or databases that hold your personal information. There is no user account, no login, and no data is uploaded to us.
Contact data (names, dates, phone numbers), message history, and app settings are stored only on your device using AsyncStorage. We do not have access to your contacts.
2. AI message generation
When you generate a message, the following data is sent to Anthropic's Claude API:
- Recipient's first name
- Occasion type (birthday, name day, etc.)
- Your relationship to the recipient
- Interests and notes you have added (if any)
- Selected message tone
This data is used solely to generate the message and is subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. We do not store generated messages on our servers.
3. Subscriptions
Subscription management is handled entirely by Apple App Store (iOS), Google Play (Android) and RevenueCat. We do not process or store any payment information.
4. Analytics
We do not use third-party analytics tools. We do not track your behaviour within the app.
5. Data retention
Your data remains on your device until you delete the app or use the "Delete all data" option in Settings. Because nothing is stored on our servers, we have no data to retain about you.
6. Children
Gretify is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
